I ordered this hose through seller PRI Industries. The hose that showed up did not have any AR markings and was a 1/4" 3100 psi hose. It fits and it works but it is a plasticky feeling hose not on par with the original hose that came with my AR washer. The original AR washer hose was thicker, rubbery, and marked for 3700 psi. It is just plain nicer and more substantial feeling than this extension. Now I grant you that if purchased from Amazon direct, it is possible that a 3700 psi hose on par with the original shows up, but based on the picture, I think not. For all I know, this one is for the cheaper AR washers but it is not a correct match for my AR610.
On a guess, just from looking at pictures, I ordered the Apache extension hose

on a warehouse deal and it was the same quality 5/16" 3700 psi hose. I'm very pleased. NOTE that the Apache has 2 female ends, which worked out perfect as I wanted to add quick connects anyway and it was easy as long as you get the right ones. Now I feel like I have a total of 75 feet of OEM grade hose to get where I need to. If you just want another 25 feet instead of the 50 footer I bought, get this one:

For me, the extra length added by this hose significantly increases the utility of the AR 383 pressure washer (which barely spanned the width of our small swimming pool when using only the original hose). Now I can work in a large area without constantly moving the pressure washer to where I am. And the extra length allows me to work farther from the noise!Although I think the extra length *slightly* increases the probability that the AR 383 will stall when I activate the nozzle, the problem is so rare that I would never consider using the AR383 without this extension hose. And I might be imagining that problem. The occasional tendency to stall on activation seems to be caused primarily by activating the nozzle too soon after releasing it. If I give it 3 seconds between bursts I don't think it will ever stall.Of course, the pair of hoses will not fit on the built-in reel of the AR 383, but I don't think that's a loss. Even the original short hose had problems with that reel, and was starting to kink because of the tight diameter. For storage, I just make one big coil with the pair of hoses (which I lash with a Velcro tie). I never unmate them.

Satisfied with the quality of this extension which is better than the hose that came with my AR 390SS. I was hoping I could replace the original hose that came with my AR 390SS, but you can't use this as replacement. The connectors are designed only to extend (see photo). I didn't really need the additional length, but I wanted the softer more plyable hose. The original is hard with a lot of coil memory making it difficult to use. The other challenge using this extension is the AR 390SS comes with a hose reel, but due to the bulky connection where the extension connects to the original hose you can't wind up the full length of both hoses.
